Mauro Icardi is eager to end his “dry run and bad luck” by finding the net for Inter against Atalanta in Bergamo this evening.

It kicks off at 19.45 UK time (18.45 GMT), click here for the line-ups and Liveblog.

“I know that I could’ve scored in the derby and wasted a fundamental chance. I also had a good opportunity with Torino and the goalkeeper did well to keep it out,” Icardi told Inter TV.

“I hope to break this dry run and bad luck I’ve had over the last two games. It’s never easy against Atalanta, as it’s tough for any opponent to come here and get a result.

“Atalanta are well-organised, gritty, strong in one-on-one situations. Then they have their fans, who are so passionate.

“We must put in a good performance and achieve our objective.”
